This is a comprehensive list of 3U VME cards for the Atari MegaSTe/TT030 computer systems. Put a video card in there and don't waste the VME slot on other types of cards. My 2 cents.

If you decide to use a VME card you need to remove the VME cover, thus losing the 2 serial ports. However, they are not needed much these days due to ethernet and the internet.

Byte IO Card notes:
The faceplate has a 28-pin socket with what appears to be 2 ID selection switches,
these are hex rotating switches marked $0 to $F. The board has the following writing
on the component side:
  BYTE IO CARD
  6089895XA ISS.A SEP 90
  SOLID STATE LOGIC
There is no writing on the solder side of the board.
The small handle on the faceplate has a sticker that says 'ATARI I/F'.
Perhaps this is a networking card?
